Genesis privacy & data controls
Updated October 22, 2026. This notice applies to the Genesis membership, Idea Forge, private team workspaces, Arena and Registry. The existing XRP Legacy privacy notice and account provider also apply.
Private membership records
Genesis stores your existing account identifier, issued Genesis ID, membership tier and status, display name, biography, selected interests and timestamps in Cloudflare D1. Membership profile content stays private. Public profiles are separate snapshots submitted explicitly for moderator review. Idea Forge stores project titles, descriptions, plain text documents, tags, stages, visibility settings, retained revisions, discussions and reports. Private shared workspaces store accepted team memberships and invitation status, chosen name/ID snapshots, laboratory subjects, work items, up to ten retained versions per item, internal review records and small plain-text attachments. No external AI processing is enabled. Do not enter secrets, confidential inventions or sensitive personal data in your profile.
Private teams and laboratory drafts
Only active Architect or Vanguard members can create or access team workspaces. The creator invites members by exact Genesis ID and chooses viewer or editor access; recipients explicitly accept sharing their chosen name/ID. Viewers read shared records; editors can change shared items; creators control collaborators and stages. Public proposal documents and private creator notes are not copied into workspaces. Tier downgrade, suspension or team removal blocks access. Previously viewed content may have been copied by collaborators. Internal Vanguard review does not independently verify research, certify a result or establish intellectual property rights. Workspace edits invalidate previous review; editing advanced work returns it to Validate.
Arena, achievements and Registry
Arena stores challenge prompts, server solutions, submitted responses, attempt counts, status, expiry and rubric feedback. Solutions are excluded from client responses until an attempt ends. Objective attempts expire after 24 hours; pending creative responses remain until review or membership deletion. Completed attempts are pruned to the most recent 100 when new attempts start, and up to 30 recent attempts are shown. Achievement records persist until membership deletion; practice completion awards are unique per challenge version, weekly awards per season. Points have no monetary value and do not represent IQ or professional qualifications. Creative responses are explicitly shared with appointed moderators for human rubric review, not an external AI service.
Weekly standings require a separate opt-in to publish a chosen-name/Genesis-ID snapshot and weekly points. Withdrawing removes the board identity immediately. Registry drafts are private. Public submission consents to sharing the claim, evidence links, linked project ID and author name/ID snapshot. Evidence links are stored and displayed, not automatically fetched. Reviewers explicitly consent to public attribution of their name/ID and review note. Independent evidence review requires an appointed Vanguard outside the linked team; loss of eligibility marks the review expired and excludes its points. This is platform evidence review, not a patent, certification or guarantee of correctness. Editing a claim resets its approval and verification and removes its registry award. Public readers may retain copies. Registry reports and selected snapshots are private to appointed moderators.
Sign-in and permissions
Genesis reuses the existing Neon Auth registration and sign-in system, including email and Google. Genesis does not store passwords. A verified email is required to enroll. Only a separately provisioned administrator can change membership tiers or suspend access. Tier badges do not grant administrative or moderation powers.
Security logs
Enrollment, profile edits, project changes, reports, moderation and role-change events are recorded privately. Event records contain account identifiers, action, target, timestamp and role-change details, moderator decision notes, but not passwords or full project documents. Records older than 90 days are purged on the next Genesis mutation. Rate-limit counters expire after one hour and are purged on subsequent Genesis mutations; they contain account IDs, counters and timestamps.
Export and deletion
Use the dashboard to export your Genesis membership, projects, retained revisions, your messages, profile snapshot, reports, owned workspace records and your retained contributions/reviews or permanently delete it. Genesis deletion removes membership, private and public profiles, owned projects and their retained versions and discussions (including other members’ replies), your messages on other projects, reports, owned workspaces and their team records, your team memberships, work items you created and their revisions, revisions you authored elsewhere, your internal reviews, Arena attempts, achievements, weekly-board identity, registry claims and reports, associated administrative grants and personal Genesis audit records. Reviewer deletion removes structured attribution and returns affected registry entries to pending review. Collaboratively edited items created by other members remain shared; the structured editor and assignee identifiers are cleared. A short-lived rate counter can remain until the next cleanup. This does not delete your separate XRP Legacy account, other profile, library records or saved games. For provider account deletion or records outside Genesis, follow the existing privacy notice. Identity sequences are retained so deleted IDs are never reissued.
Mentorship and community proposals
Mentor offers are optional, reviewed and visible only to signed-in active Genesis members while the mentor retains Vanguard access. Your chosen name and Genesis ID identify your offer. An introduction is private to the sender and selected mentor; either participant may share that selected introduction with appointed moderators by reporting it. Accepted mentorship is voluntary peer guidance, not professional certification. Either participant can end a request and delete an ended or declined introduction. Withdrawal hides an offer but does not end existing requests.
Community proposals are shared with reviewers and, after approval, signed-in members. Your individual vote is private; only aggregate support, oppose and abstain counts appear. One vote per eligible account is enforced; membership must be seven days old and predate the proposal. These checks do not prove a unique person. Polls run seven days after first approval and are advisory. Hidden proposals are not voted on. Membership export includes your mentorship introductions, offers, proposals, votes and reports. Membership deletion removes your offers, all introductions involving you, your proposals and their votes, your votes elsewhere and associated reports. Other members may retain copies of previously shared material. Reports can retain selected snapshots until affected membership deletion. Private inputs are not sent to external AI services. No wallet or paid service is connected.
Ownership and future phases
Creating a membership does not transfer ownership of your ideas, establish a patent or guarantee legal ownership. Public submission is optional and requires consent to display the submitted material, chosen display name and Genesis ID. Public profiles and proposals require moderation before appearing; review is for display safety and does not verify research or ownership. Editing a public proposal removes it from public view until reviewed again. Withdrawing a profile or switching a project to private hides it immediately. Third parties may retain copies of previously public material. Private creator notes never become public when a project is published. Reports and their notes are available only to separately appointed moderators, along with the selected content; do not report confidential material unless you intend to share it with moderators. The latest 20 project drafts are retained until deletion. There is no sale of ideas, token launch, wallet connection or paid AI service.
