XRP Legacy — Privacy & Data
Updated October 20, 2026. XRP Legacy is an independent educational and creative project operated by Caspersmiles and hosted through Cloudflare. Contact: Discord username caspersmiles_76115. Do not send passwords, wallet secrets or identity documents.
Optional visitor counting
Off by default. You can allow anonymous visitor and page-view counting or turn it off at any time. Reading, games, accounts and the rest of the website work without it.
Current choice: off
Accounts and saved information
Optional email/password and Google sign-in use Neon Auth and Google. These providers process account and authentication information under their own terms. Passwords are not stored in this browser. Profiles can contain a display name, image, dialog, watchlist and price targets. Device drafts stay locally; choosing Save profile while signed in stores the profile against your account in Cloudflare D1.
Community and library activity
Community posts publish your chosen display name, note, asset, prediction window, observed prices and reactions. Anonymous ownership uses an HttpOnly cookie and hash-derived identifier; signed-in ownership uses the account identifier. Library reactions and reading progress, when available, are stored against signed-in account IDs; device reading progress stays locally. Those account records are not published as individual reading histories. Aggregate reactions are public. Historical participation data may remain; the former points system is retired.
Optional traffic analytics
Visitor counting is off until you allow it using the controls above. When enabled, this device stores random visitor/session identifiers. The database stores hashed identifiers, section names, timestamps, mobile/desktop category and referring domain. This application analytics table does not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, wallet addresses or full referring URLs. Hosting and external providers may process IP addresses and security logs separately. Do Not Track disables this recorder. Turning analytics off removes its device identifiers and stops future recording; it does not erase historical server records.
Local storage and outside services
Preferences, favorites, game saves, local profile drafts and lesson progress use browser storage. External XRPL servers, exchanges, data providers and news links may receive connection details. Playing VOID-TV films contacts Wikimedia-hosted media. Opening the embedded Ripple Run game contacts Base44 and may use that game's storage and privacy practices. External sign-in, media and service providers have their own policies. The SI helper uses local rules and fixed explanations; its current endpoint does not send your questions to a paid AI provider.
XRPL Quest hosted worlds and recovery
XRPL Quest stores city progress, residents, fictional business activity and game-command records in Cloudflare Durable Objects. A private HttpOnly session cookie connects this browser to its world. These worlds are separate from your optional XRP Legacy account and do not require an email or wallet. The game also keeps display preferences and its welcome-panel choice in local browser storage.
An optional recovery code grants access to that hosted world in another browser. Keep it private. Replacing the code blocks future recovery with the old code; existing signed-in sessions can remain active. The previous-city snapshot covers position and residents, while economic transactions and rewards are retained.
Hosted worlds and session/recovery records currently remain until manually removed; there is no automatic expiry or self-service world deletion. Clearing browser data or importing a website backup does not delete or restore the hosted world. Keep your current recovery code privately before clearing browser data. To request world removal, contact caspersmiles_76115 on Discord and ask for ownership-verification instructions. Do not publish or send a recovery code, password or wallet secret in the initial request. Requests need manual review and no automatic deletion outcome is promised.
The website backup includes local Quest display preferences and the welcome-panel choice. It excludes hosted worlds, cookies and private recovery codes. Use the game recovery controls for hosted progress.
Retention, access and removal requests
Account profiles, community posts, library activity and historical analytics currently remain until administrator removal; an automatic retention schedule has not been implemented. Local deletion controls only erase the device copy. To request access, correction or removal of your server-held records, contact caspersmiles_76115 on Discord and identify the relevant account or post URL. We may need to verify ownership through the existing account. Never send your password or identity documents. Neon account deletion is not currently available in the website interface; account/provider requests require separate handling. Legal obligations and any applicable exceptions may affect deletion. This page does not claim those requests are automated.
